One Last Thing

Run free

Run free

Two hours left and I unclog the kitchen sink. It’s been slow my entire stay and that I get to it now with only a few hours left in the apartment must say something. Hopefully that I’ve been out too much to be bothered with a slow sink.

Satisfaction is the same. Thinking it through, not wanting to buy anything on top of the message implanted by a bus sign warning against the non-greenness of drain cleaners, getting one of the multiple toilet plungers and giving it a workout. The suction is tremendous, the rubber cone impossible to adjust once it’s on the metal sink. It slides over the drain hole and breaks free, and the water rushes out like for Moses.

Out of all the things I’ve seen and done, this one act is probably the most practical, but I doubt it will be the most lasting.
